The neuromuscular stimulator, Paravak, was first produced in Iran by a research team at the Center for Nervous System of the University of Science and Technology of Iran and obtained the license from the Ministry of Health

Individuals with spinal cord injury, in addition to motor problems, are affected by intolerance, such as osteoporosis, muscle atrophy and stiffness in the joints, according to the report. The use of nerve technology is one of the methods used to resolve motor problems in people with spinal cord injury. Paravak is a portable microelectronic system controlled by microprocessor chips, created and controlled by the central nervous system of the human body.

It is to be noted that the device provides neural rehabilitation and helps to stand up and step up the lumbar spinal cord injury without using brace.
